Anika Systems is looking for a Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join our expanding Federal team. We are a fast-growing woman-owned small business providing innovative IT solutions for federal government agencies. This opportunity will be 100% remote.

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and customize Power Platform solutions: Design, develop, and deploy custom applications, workflows, and solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Build business applications and automate processes using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to enhance functionality and streamline business operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for Power Platform solutions.
  • Design and architect Power Platform solutions, including information architecture, security models, and data integration using Dataverse and other external data sources.
  • Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including monitoring and troubleshooting service requests, managing user permissions, and ensuring system performance and security.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with other systems and data sources such as ERP systems, databases, and external applications, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
  • Write custom code, scripts, and workflows using languages such as Power Fx and JavaScript to extend Power Platform capabilities beyond out-of-the-box functionality.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and deliver training and documentation to promote user adoption and effective utilization of Power Platform solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and system administrators, to deliver successful Power Platform projects.
  • Enforce security policies by means of client policy guidance and governance, ensuring solutions align with compliance and security requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience developing applications with Power Apps.
  • 3+ years of experience developing automations with Power Automate.
  • Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Dataverse and understanding of its role within Power Platform applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience configuring Environment security with Business Units, Teams, Security Roles, and other security features within the Power Platform.
  • Experience with setting up Power Platform system settings such as Data Management and Auditing.
  • Proficiency with Power Platform governance and administration, including configuring DLP policies, monitoring, and troubleshooting solutions.
  • Experience developing with Power Fx, PowerShell, JavaScript, or other scripting languages to extend Power Platform functionality.
  • Federal govt. work experience is a plus.
Required Certifications:
  • PL-900 certification
Preferred Certifications:
  • PL-100 certification (highly recommended).
  • PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600 certifications (ideal for more complex solutions).
